Tools Used: Canvas, Oil Paint, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
I created this Limited Edition Imperial Stout metallic label as a side project using traditional oils before ultimately mastering it digitally. The actual template and all the text was done in Illustrator. Placed as a smart object, you can see my white overprint channel in the Photoshop screenshot, indicating which areas should be opaque and which areas should remain transparent to allow the metallic label paper to shine through. The bottom image is a snapshot of a proof the vendor sent to show what the print looked like on the label paper. These seasonal bottles are available for purchase during the winter months.
